The Driver and vehicle Licensing Agency is responsible to maintain a database of drivers and vehicles in Great Britain. Dvla theory test is designed to compliment the practical driving test. Obtaining a full driving license is not a simple task; you need to pass a dvla theory test to prove your knowledge and understanding of Highway Codes. The dvla theory test consists of two parts, the multiple-choice questions and the hazard recognition test. It is imperative to qualify through both of these to pass dvla theory test. Multi-choice questions cover a wide range of driving issues and there are 35 questions to answer within 40 minutes. At least 30 right selections are a must to succeed. The hazard recognition part consists of 14 video clips. These clips are taken from daily road scenes. Every clip features some developing hazards; you will need to respond to the developing hazard during the initial part of its development. 44 correct assessments out of 75 scenarios are the passing marks for this section.
